Ethical challenges facing the government necropolitics during the COVID-19 pandemics: : reflections from a therapeutic accompaniment

Resumo: This paper reports some reflections on the professional experience related to the work of the therapeutic accompaniment during the COVID-19 Pandemic between the years 2020 and 2022, taking the concept of necropolitics as a key concept, due to the way the pandemics was conducted by the Brazilian government during the referred period. The paper analyzes some of the conditions under which the work of the therapeutic accompaniment took place during the pandemics, as this professional worked in a diversity of urban spaces.  Then, three ethical challenges concerning the referred period are described. Thus, it is expected to collaborate for the therapeutic accompaniment, a field of antimanicomial practice, to be a clinic-political device of resistance to government authoritarianism and destruction of public health policies.

Tal aspecto se mostra necessário devido à forma com que a pandemia foi conduzida pelo governo brasileiro no referido período. O relato irá analisar algumas condições sob as quais o trabalho do acompanhante terapêutico aconteceu durante este período de pandemia, uma vez que este profissional transitou nos diversos espaços urbanos. É descrito em seguida três desafios éticos da prática clínica do referido período.
