Phenomenological research with university students using different clinical modalities in a northeastern psychology school service

Resumo: | This was a phenomenological research that sought to understand the experience of university students in different clinical modalities offered by a northeastern school service. Open individual interviews applied to ten collaborators mainly indicated the need for help, satisfaction with the service and with the actions of attendants, subjective mobilizations with lived experiences and changes in modes of subjectivation, despite some dissatisfaction throughout the processes. Aiming to contribute to improve the quality of services provided by institutional interns in the clinical modalities, it was concluded that there was a need to expand phenomenological studies in psychology school services and to create public actions and policies in the academic sphere to enhance mental health care of students in universities in the region. |

Empregando-se o método da hermenêutica colaborativa, realizaram-se dez entrevistas individuais abertas com pergunta disparadora. Análise fenomenológica revelou as seguintes unidades de sentido: reconhecimento da necessidade de ajuda; satisfação com o atendimento e a qualidade do serviço recebido; insatisfação como usuário do serviço escola; reconhecimento e satisfação pela atuação de quem atendeu; mudanças em modos de subjetivação; e mobilizações subjetivas com as experiências vividas. Concluiu-se, principalmente, a necessidade de ampliar estudos fenomenológicos em serviços escola de Psicologia e de criar políticas públicas no âmbito acadêmico para potencializar o cuidado à saúde mental de universitários nas universidades da região.
