Resumo: This study's aim is to analyse relations between the metacognition, experiences, and study conditions during Emergency Remote Learning. This is a cross-sectional and descriptive research, with a quantitative approach, developed with a sample of 329 undergraduate students from the Federal University of the Semi-Arid. The instruments used were a questionnaire about the profile of the students, their experiences and study conditions, and an instrument for evaluating metacognitive strategies. Data were collected online. The results showed significant interrelationships between metacognition and some study conditions and experiences during Remote Emergency Teaching. Self-monitoring and self-regulation were shown to be related to the students' experiences, providing them with resources for the analysis of cognitive and academic needs and for managing demands.

Trata-se de uma pesquisa transversal e descritiva, de abordagem quantitativa, desenvolvida com uma amostra de 329 graduandos da Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-Árido. Utilizou-se de um questionário sobre o perfil dos estudantes, suas vivências e condições de estudo e um instrumento de avaliação de estratégias metacognitivas. Os dados foram coletados on-line. Verificou-se interrelações significativas entre a metacognição e algumas condições para o estudo e vivências discente durante o ERE.
