Resumo: In this article, I propose a discussion about the hybridized linguistic practices present in the rap of Bro MCs, a group of indigenous young people from the Guarani-Kaiowá/MS ethnicity. From a language perspective, as local practice and as social negotiation strategy, I try to infer meanings and languages ideologies that are indexicalized in the mixing of Guarani and Portuguese languages. The analysis of discourses produced by Kaiowá young people revealed a metapragmatics reflexivity in which both linguistic resources as other cultural resources, including the musical style of rap, are reapropriated by social actors and reinterpreted as their language ideologies and purposes of social denunciation. Such negotiation strategies indicated that the group not only share an appreciation of the Kaiowá language and culture indicated by identity performances, but also a dynamic and reterritorialized view of language classes, culture and identity.
