The genre Practice Report of the OLP: a discursive frame for teacher literacies

Resumo: This paper analyzes the discursive approach of the genre Practice Report expressed in guidelines that guide their textual production in the context of the Portuguese Language Olympiad Writing the Future (OLP) in an attempt to show how such guidelines contribute to the literacies teacher. Our discussion will be based on principles of Applied Linguistics in dialogue with the literacies studies, some aspects of Systemic Functional Linguistics and Bakhtin’s Genre Theory in an inter/transdisciplinary tendency. The results of the discussion point to the potential of this genre in and for teacher training. To corroborate this statement, we expose two texts of the OLP, that guide the writing of the Report, which are organized into five thematic Episodes for discourse analysis. The interpretation of these Episodes causes alternatives of leading teachers to engage, enunciatively, seeking to position themselves as authors of a social practice carried out at school, a space marked by identity heterogeneities and political effervescence, inherent of whoever enounces, even if they flourish implicitly.

Nossa discussão será fundamentada por princípios da Linguística Aplicada (LA) em diálogo com os estudos dos letramentos, alguns aspectos da Linguística Sistêmico-Funcional (LSF) e da teoria de gênero bakhtiniana, em uma tendência inter/transdisciplinar. Os resultados da discussão apontam para a potencialidade do gênero na e para a formação docente. Para corroborar com essa afirmação, expomos dois textos da OLP que orientam a escrita do Relato, organizados em cinco Episódios temáticos para a análise discursiva.
