Power and knowledge in internship documents: professional education as governmentality

Resumo: This paper aims to investigate internship concepts in internship documents of the IFSC and its articulation with the norms on internship and professional education as tactics of governmentality, from the emergence to the present internships configuration in this educational institution. The study is based on Michel Foucault's conceptions of discourse, document, monument, power/knowledge and governmentality. Bibliographical and documentary researches were carried out and the resulting reflections suggest that the discourse on internship was constructed from articulations between power/ knowledge in the fields of work, economy, politics and education as tactics of governmentality.

O estudo tem por base os princípios de Michel Foucault sobre discurso, documento, monumento, poder/saber e governamentalidade.
