Resumo: In this article, I intend to present part of results obtained through the development of the research project Literary Discourse Analysis: the functioning of authorship in the epistolary production of Mário de Andrade, which was developed at the Institute of Letters and Linguistics of the Federal University of Uberlândia, between March 2013 and February 2016, and funded by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). Based on the theoretical framework of Literary Discourse Analysis, postulated by Dominique Maingueneau in his book Literary Discourse among other texts, I proposed, in this project, to analyze part of the epistolary production of Mário de Andrade, more specifically, the letters he wrote to Manuel Bandeira between 1922 and 1944. The main objective of this project was, by analyzing the functioning of authorship in this set of texts, to verify the means by which the imbrication among the three authorship instances postulated by Maingueneau occurs, namely, the person, the writer and the inscriptor.

No referido projeto, me propus, com base em fundamentos teóricos da Análise do discurso literário, postulados por Dominique Maingueneau em Discurso literário e em alguns outros textos, a analisar parte da produção epistolar de Mário de Andrade, mais especificamente, as cartas que escreveu a Manuel Bandeira entre os anos de 1922 e 1944.
