Resumo: In this article we discus about the use and the relationship of personal deictic signs as responsible for the verbal agreement process in Brazilian Sign Language. In addition to defending the deictic signals flex the same manner as the nominal signals, i.e. receive sublexical different items to indicate either direction also pointed out that these signs, because the process of natural evolution of natural languages evolve give the new forms, as the sign of OUR possessive pronoun, as in Pounds find distinct signs for this sense of ownership. This data, combined with studies of Meier & Lillo-Martin (2013), and guided by theoretical and Meier (1990), Ferreira (2010), Thompson et al (2013) among others, indicate that these deictic signs come to incorporating the over time, the simple verbs and gain movement in neutral space, indicated by spatial modulators, ie, transformed into not simple verbs - for moving spatially to agree with the subject and / or object. This phenomenon allowed us to 'see' the sign character in that language, because the act of pointing, gained new possibilities of use and meaning, then assuming multiple roles, sometimes simultaneously, as described by these theorists. Thus, we conclude that these signals have a capacity to behave the same way as lexical signs, but without losing their deictic character point, to indicate and to locate. And, therefore, they are responsible for the verbal agreement process is not incorporated into the simple verbs is when accompanying simple verbs.
