Resumo: Aiming to show to the interested in this area the diversity and richness of these field of research, this paper presents an analysis of the researches reported  on a sample made of 33 articles all published in 2014. These articles are related to the 24th Congress of Onomastics Sciences Proceedings held by the International Council of Onomastics (ICOS), event that took place on September of 2011, among the 5th and the 9th of September, in Barcelona, Spain. It is expected that this paper review might be a point of departure for beginners on this area.

Esses artigos foram publicados em 2014 nos Anais relativos ao 24º encontro do Conselho Internacional de Onomástica, International Council of Onomastics (ICOS), realizado entre 05 e 09 de setembro de 2011, em Barcelona, Espanha.
