This text is about an extension project that consists of storytelling on radio. By understanding the scope of radio and how it contemplates various spheres of society, even moving between social classes, the presence of Storytelling at Rádio Excelsior Recôncavo FM has been configured as an fruitful project. In this work, we initially presente the importance of the extension Project as something politically constitutive of the university essence, within a exit perspective. Parallel to this, we situate the radio as a place/bridge between the university and society within one of the oldest cultural practices of humanity, which is Storytelling. The methodology used was a phenomelogical-descriptive nature with the aim of placing a phenomenon in parentheses and situating it within a universe of meanings.
