This text deals with the reflection on the empirical research developed within the scope of the project “Traditional knowledge and the right of recognition of faith healers and healers of the Quilombo de Mata Cavalo/Nossa Senhora do Livramento/MT”, developed by the Group of Studies and Research on Work and Education (GEPTE), Federl University of Mato Grosso, Brazil. It is characterized as a qualitative research and participatory research methodology in which we seek to identify the possible meanings for the use of digital media in the context of sharing traditional practices of care and healing developed by the Coletivo Saberes e Fazeres Curativos do Quilombo de Mata Cavalo. We aim to reflect on the process of incorporation and use of technologies in practices within the project, as well as the limits of such use in the face of times, spaces and sociocultural places in which the subjects are inserted.
