Resumo: | The paper reports the experience lived with the elderly in the Beautiful Old Age Course, offered in a public university, from the efforts of the Tutorial Education Program group. The course was conducted in two modules, the first with 20 elderly, both sexes, 30 hours, working with group dynamics and conversation circles, with emphasis on the emotional design model problematizing aging in its various facets in the perspective of a successful old age. The second module of the course was linked to the 20-hour hands-on computer skills development work. It was noticed the importance of educational intervention and its contribution to redefine old age from the participants’ reports. The experiences were positive, contributed with the increase of knowledge, led to reflections and new ways of thinking and acting about aging and enabled the e participants to engage in the digital word. |

O curso foi realizado em dois módulos, o primeiro, com 20 idosos, ambos os sexos, carga horária de 30 horas, trabalhando-se com dinâmicas de grupos e roda de conversa, com ênfase no modelo de design emocional problematizando o envelhecimento em suas diversas facetas na perspectiva de uma velhice exitosa. O segundo módulo foi ligado ao trabalho prático de 20 horas para o desenvolvimento de habilidades no uso de computadores. Percebeu-se a importância da intervenção educativa e sua contribuição para ressignificar a velhice a partir dos discursos dos participantes.
