Resumo: The discussion turns to observations about digital technologies in the daily lives of the elderly population, a situation crossed by prejudices. Therefore, based on the Elderly Statute, which recommends actions that involve integration into modern life and, in a dialogue with Paulo Freire, old age is reflected from the unfinished human being, so people learn regardless of age. In this perspective, another way of aging is envisioned and, instead of abstraction, the Elderly Statute becomes an instrument of transformation.

Por tanto, a partir del Estatuto de la Tercera Edad, que recomienda acciones que implican la integración a la vida moderna y, en diálogo con Paulo Freire, la vejez se refleja desde el ser humano inacabado, para que las personas aprendan sin importar la edad. En esta perspectiva, se vislumbra otra forma de envejecimiento y, en lugar de abstracción, el Estatuto del Adulto Mayor se convierte en un instrumento de transformación. Palabras clave: Inclusión digital; Estatuto de la tercera edad; Paulo Freire.A discussão se volta às observações em torno das tecnologias digitais no cotidiano da população idosa, situação atravessada de preconceitos. Assim sendo, com base no Estatuto do Idoso, o qual recomenda ações que envolvam a integração à vida moderna e, num diálogo, com Paulo Freire, a velhice é refletida a partir do inacabamento humano; logo, as pessoas aprendem independentemente da idade.
