Pharmacy for the community: sharing knowledge through the Farmacodrama Festival and Expofarma Fair

Sharing healthy information with the community is the purpose of popular health education. In this sense, the objective of this work was to publicize the actions of a project that sought to apply scientific knowledge in health promotion, targeting school adolescents. The methodology of this experience report is based on two extension events, a cultural festival and a health fair. The festival worked with health themes, through pedagogical psychodrama, theater, parodies and cordel literature. The fair sought to promote health through the exhibition of didactic models, educational games and themed tables. The festival had the participation of 78 high school students, who served as an interactive audience, in addition to 122 undergraduate pharmacy students who presented the themes and 5 evaluator professors. The fair was attended by 13 evaluator professors and 120 exhibiting undergraduate students. It is concluded that the project was a success within its methodological and pedagogical proposals, as it carried out health education activities with adolescents, contextualizing the teaching-learning process through playful tools.
