GEOGRAPHY AND VIRTUAL FIELDWORK: TEACHING AND LEARNING PROCESS IN TIMES OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Resumo: The objective of this work is to briefly present the experience of the virtual fieldwork carried out in the year 2020, from the proposal of the Environmental Geomorphology discipline, of the in Geography degree, of a State University located in the Minas Gerais state. For this purpose, a bibliographic review and presentation of an experience report were used as methodology. As a result, we found that the areas studied have a certain degree of degradation, which require strategic planning for the preservation and maintenance of their natural resources. And that even in times of reclusion, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is possible to carry out geographical fieldwork remotely, since such activity is essential for teacher training.

Para tanto, utilizou-se como metodologia revisão bibliográfica e apresentação de relato de experiência. Como resultado, constatamos que as áreas estudadas possuem um determinado grau de degradação, que necessitam de um planejamento estratégico para a preservação e manutenção dos seus recursos naturais.
