Resumo: Socio-spatial, ethnic-racial and gender inequalities are present in Brazilian society, in the most diverse spaces. The Brazilian public university is one of these spaces where there these inequalities can be found. This research seeks to bring the reflection of what it is to be a black woman and an university professor from the perspectives and speeches of four black women professors who teach geography at Brazilian public universities: Ella, Filomena, Sol e Maria. Thus, through the metodologies of life story and interseccionality, it was possible to listen to the theachers narratives, as well as to understand their socio-spatial trajectories and paths to university teaching.

A universidade pública brasileira configura-se como um destes espaços onde há inúmeras presenças-e-ausências. Este artigo traz as reflexões do que é ser mulher negra e professora universitária a partir das perspectivas e falas de Ella, Filomena, Maria e Sol - quatro professoras negras que lecionam o ensino de Geografia em universidades públicas brasileiras.
