Black racial identity in the context of the production of the Municipal Education Plan of Diamantina/MG

This article aims to discuss how the theme of black racial identity was appropriated in the process of elaborating the Municipal Education Plan of Diamantina/MG (2015-2025). We listen to the collaborators on: understanding the Plan of the elaboration of this policy; the identification of the voices that integrate the process; the participation of the black movement; the approach of the theme of black racial identity. From the above, the scene of elaboration of the PME in Diamantina/MG, was configured as a political field marked by debates about identities, but not all voices had expression to define the nuances of Law No. 3.880/2015, that approves the referred Plan. In this field of disputes, the black racial identity drawn in the process of weaving the Plan is a consequence of the colonial view, since the black population, present in the educational context of Diamantinense, is not yet considered an integrantd part of this process.
