School inclusion of a student with autism: reflections on a case study

Resumo: | This article, developed in the Pedagogy undergraduate course at the UFMS/CPNV as a course completion paper, presents a study whose aim was to investigate whether (and how) communication and verbal interactions took place among a child with autism, enrolled in preschool, her teacher and an intern teacher who accompanied them in a Children's Educational Center (CIEI) in the public-school system of Naviraí/MS. The study took into consideration the national policy for inclusive education and characterized and explained the pedagogical relationship established among those involved in the research. A qualitative research was carried out through bibliographic review and a case study, involving the aforementioned subjects. The data collection instruments used were: recorded semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation sessions held in the referred student's classroom. The results indicated that both the teacher and the intern do not have the adequate training to work with the specificities of a child with autism, which then impairs their work and makes the interaction with the autistic student a practice still difficult to accomplish. |

Se realizó una investigación cualitativa a través de encuestas bibliográficas y un estudio de caso con los temas mencionados. Los instrumentos utilizados para la recopilación de datos fueron grabadas entrevistas semiestructuradas y sesiones de observación no participante realizadas en el aula. Los resultados indicaron que tanto el maestro director como el aprendiz no tienen la capacitación adecuada para trabajar con las especificidades del niño con autismo, lo que dificulta su trabajo y dificulta la interacción con el estudiante autista.Cet article, développé à la Faculté d'Éducation UFMS / CPNV, dont le but s'inscrit dans les travaux de cours, vise à déterminer si et comment placer la communication et l'interaction verbale entre un enfant avec l'autisme inscrit à l'école maternelle, son enseignant et le stagiaire qui l'accompagne dans un centre d'éducation des enfants (ICIE) l'école publique d'Naviraí / MS, en vue de la politique d'inclusion scolaire nationale, la caractérisation et d'expliquer la relation pédagogique établie entre les acteurs de la recherche. Une recherche a été réalisée grâce à des enquêtes qualitatives sur la littérature et une étude de cas avec le sujet cidessus. L'instrument utilisé pour la collecte des données ont été des entrevues enregistrés et des séances d'observation non participants semi-structurées, menées en classe de cet étudiant. Les résultats indiquent que l'enseignant régent et le stagiaire, tous les deux, n'ont pas une formation adéquate pour travailler avec les caractéristiques d'un enfant avec l'autisme, ce qui entrave leur travail, ce qui rend l'interaction avec l'étudiant autiste une pratique encore difficile à réaliser.Este artigo, desenvolvido no curso de Pedagogia da UFMS/CPNV, na qualidade de trabalho de conclusão de curso, tem como objetivo investigar se e como acontecem a comunicação e interação verbal entre uma criança com autismo, matriculada na pré-escola, sua professora regente e a estagiária que a acompanha em um Centro de Educação Infantil (CIEI) da rede pública de ensino de Naviraí/MS, tendo em vista a política nacional de inclusão escolar, caracterizando e explicitando a relação pedagógica estabelecida entre os envolvidos na pesquisa. Foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa, mediante levantamentos bibliográficos e um estudo de caso, com os sujeitos citados. Os instrumentos utilizados para coleta de dados foram entrevistas semiestruturadas gravadas e sessões de observações não-participantes, realizadas na sala de aula. Os resultados indicaram que tanto a professora regente quanto a estagiária não possuem uma formação adequada para trabalhar com as especificidades da criança com autismo, o que dificulta seu trabalho, tornando a interação com a aluna autista uma prática ainda difícil de ser realizada.
