Resumo: Este trabalho descreve a importância das técnicas para refinamento de consultas em sistema de recuperação de imagens por conteúdo. O trabalho concentra-se no uso da técnica baseada em relevance feedback. Este trabalho incorpora ao SISPRIM (Sistema de pesquisa com suporte para recuperação de imagens mamográficas baseada em conteúdo) uma das técnicas de relevance feedback aqui discutidas.
