Resumo: Health cannot be limited only to biological factors, but also associated to cultural, economic, social, individual and hereditary aspects. Objective: to evaluate the health and illness conditions of those resettled in the Collective Rural Resettlement located in the municipality of Mangueirinha, Paraná state, from the perspective of the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH). This is a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research made with resettled people affected by the construction of the Foz do Chapecó Hydroelectric Power Plant. The study was attended by 10 resettled families in the municipality of Mangueirinha, Paraná. Categories such as individual health, access to health services, lifestyle, social and community relations, living and working conditions were analyzed. When evaluating the health and illness process in these families, some improvements were observed in their living and health conditions.

Objetivo: avaliar as condições de saúde e doença dos reassentados no Reassentamento Rural Coletivo localizado no município de Mangueirinha, no estado do Paraná, sob a perspectiva dos Determinantes Sociais de Saúde (DSS). Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, descritiva, exploratória realizada com reassentados, atingidos pela construção da Usina Hidrelétrica Foz do Chapecó. Participaram do estudo 10 famílias reassentadas no município de Mangueirinha no Paraná. Foram analisadas categorias como saúde individual, acesso a serviços de saúde, estilo de vida, relações sociais e na comunidade, condições de vida e trabalho.
