Resumo: Introduction: Chemotherapy drug administration poses a risk to the nursing team in terms of occupational exposure and its known adverse effects. Objective: The aim of this literature review was to address the general panorama on the biosafety of the nursing team in the administration of anticancer drugs. Method: Electronic searches were carried out in PubMed, LILACS, SciELO, Embase, and Scopus databases. We considered 17 studies that met the eligibility criteria and were included in the qualitative analysis. Results: A higher prevalence of studies was detected that opted for the questionnaire as an instrument to verify the knowledge and practices of the nursing team on the risks of administering antineoplastic drugs. Biosecurity in the nursing team was analyzed in 7 countries covering 2011 to 2021. Conclusion: It was concluded that, in addition to the periodic education of the group, monitoring of oncology centers is recommended, as well as the implementation of a safe infrastructure for work and also the monitoring of the health status of the nursing team.

Objetivo: O objetivo dessa revisão de literatura foi abordar o panorama geral sobre biossegurança da equipe de enfermagem na administração de drogas antineoplásicas. Metodologia: Foram realizadas pesquisas eletrônicas nas bases de dados PubMed, LILACS, SciELO, Embase e Scopus. Foram considerados 17 estudos que se encaixaram no critério de elegibilidade do estudo e foram incluídos para a análise qualitativa. Resultados: Foi detectada uma maior prevalência de estudos que optaram pelo questionário como um instrumento para verificar o conhecimento e práticas da equipe de enfermagem sobre os riscos de administração de drogas antineoplásicas. A biossegurança na equipe de enfermagem foi analisada em 7 diferentes países compreendendo os anos de 2011 a 2021.
