A Temática Relações Étnico-raciais no Conbrace e Conice

Resumo: | The productions focused on the theme of ethnic-racial relations have had a significant increase in the field of Brazilian education, this is mainly due to the fight against racism in Brazil. In this context, the Education Guidelines and Bases (in Portuguese, LDB) establishes through the Law 10.639 from 2003, the mandatory teaching of Afro-Brazilian history and culture and expands this reparation process with the Law 11.645 from 2008, making the study mandatory of indigenous and Afro-Brazilian history and culture in educational establishments. This article is a documentary and bibliographical research, of a qualitative and descriptive nature. The object of study was the analysis of the production of thematic working groups at the Brazilian Sports Science Congress (Conbrace) and the International Sports Science Congress (Conice), in the last three years, preceding the creation of the Working Group, Racial and Ethnic relations, with the aim of identifying, mapping and analysing works that dealt with racial issues within the scope of Physical Education (PE). Despite the unexpected confrontation with Covid-19, experienced in Brazil and around the world at the beginning of 2020 and continuing into 2021 with considerable intensity (pandemic period), the steps that guided this investigation by accessing the official website of the Colégio Brasileiro de Ciência do Esporte (CBCE) and preparation of spreadsheets, tables and graphs, allowed us to demonstrate the increase in productions related to the theme compared to the initial year of this study; the largest concentration of research related to this article, occurred in the Working Group n.5 – School. Capoeira was present in the three years analyzed, with the theme of ethnic and racial relations being most discussed during the research; and authors from institutions located in the northeast region of Brazil were responsible for the majority of productions related to the theme of ethnic and racial relations included in Conbrace/Conice in the years analyzed. We conclude that the significant production related to the theme, throughout these last editions of the event, consolidated the petition and its duly substantiated justifications, presented by letter by three members of the CBCE, which was the main initiative that culminated in the creation of the Working Group n.13 – named Ethnic and racial Relations. |

Neste ensejo a Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação (LDB) estabelece, por meio da lei 10.639/2003 a obrigatoriedade do ensino da história e cultura afro-brasileira e amplia este processo de reparação com a Lei 11.645/2008, tornando obrigatório o estudo da história e cultura indígena e afro-brasileira nos estabelecimentos de ensino. Este trabalho trata-se de uma pesquisa documental e bibliográfica, de cunho qualitativo e descritivo. Tomou como objeto de estudo a análise da produção dos Grupos de trabalhos temáticos (GTTs) no Congresso Brasileiro de Ciência do Esporte (Conbrace) e Congresso Internacional de Ciências do Esporte (Conice), nos últimos três anos que antecederam a criação do GTT relações étnico-raciais, com o intuito de identificar, mapear e analisar trabalhos que trataram de questões raciais no âmbito da Educação Física. Apesar do enfrentamento inesperado da Covid-19, vivenciado no Brasil e no mundo no início do ano de 2020 e decorrer de 2021 ainda com bastante intensidade (período pandêmico), os passos que nortearam esta investigação acessando o site oficial do Colégio Brasileiro de Ciência do Esporte (CBCE) e elaborações de planilhas, quadros e gráficos nos possibilitou comprovar o aumento de produções referentes à temática em comparação ao ano inicial deste estudo; a maior concentração de trabalhos relacionados à pesquisa ocorreu no GTT 05 – Escola. A capoeira esteve presente nos três anos analisados, sendo a temática das relações étnico-raciais mais abordada no decorrer da pesquisa; e as autoras e autores de instituições localizadas na região nordeste do Brasil foram as/os responsáveis pela maioria das produções referente à temática das relações étnico-raciais inseridas no Conbrace/Conice nos anos analisados.
