This search is based on the bibliographic study of a part of a historical documentation related to the current Triângulo Mineiro’s region, to the north of São Paulo and to the south of Goiás, with the aim of contribute to the rebuilding of the ethnographic and historical panorama of contact among indians and black people in the regions. It is important emphasize the exceptional character of the part of the research that refers to the collect of bibliographic material: the opportunity to inquire in loco in the Portuguese archives and the subsequent readback with the files collected in Minas Gerais. As from successive interpretations and analyzes of the material collected we glimpse put in evidence a complex net of identities and alterities in the axis of coexistences and successions spatiotemporal between the meridional Jê and the blacks escaped of slavery. For this purpose, the fertile dialogue between anthropology and history supports the theoretical and methodological discussions for the interpretation of the sources collected in the archives and libraries. In this sense, this research brings up, above all, anthropologically in the theoretical photograms of Marshall Sahllins (2008) and in the methodological scope of Carlo Ginzburg(1989), given that both elucidate, substantially, this interdisciplinary dialogue between anthropology and history.
