Resumo: The present work has as its object of study the new Economic Freedom Law n.º 13.874 of 2019 and the analytical exposition of the reasons that originated it, together with the comparison of the Provisional Measure n.º 881/19 that preceded it, in addition to the observation of the legislative changes provoked by this law with a focus on the articles of the Civil Code. For this, in addition to the exposition and legislative comparison, the doctrinal analysis that suggests interpretative forms of the norm will be made, observing its repercussion in the legal world and the way it is presented.
