Resumo: Social indices are aspects that indicate the social and economic development of cities and regions. With the sharp increase in populations and the evolution of urbanization, knowledge of the behavior of social and economic indices can contribute to city planning. The objective of this work was to analyze the behavior of social indices in the Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba region, using techniques of descriptive statistics, cluster analysis and geostatistics to know the behavior of variables in the region. It can be highlighted as a result of the spatial analysis of the distribution of clusters of each dimension studied and also of the global dimension, the existence of spatial dependence for the indicators, considering the clustering between the cities analyzed.
