Resumo: Although adolescents are not considered a population at risk of mortality from covid-19 infection, the pandemic has had an impact on the mental health and well-being of young people. Considering that social distancing was the main containment measure, before the evolution of world vaccination, the online model of mental health care has become an even more present alternative during this time of restrictions. Thus, the objective of the study was to describe the experience of conducting online groups with adolescents during the covid-19 pandemic. The investigation is an experience report of a descriptive nature of an intervention research with a qualitative approach. 15 online conversation circles were held, open to the participation of adolescents aged 14 to 19 years, from a state school in Minas Gerais, through Google Meet. The analysis of the results was based on the five stages of the movement of realization of the real proposed by Critelli. It is noted that the conversation circles promoted a welcoming space for adolescents, who were able to share their anxieties and experiences, experienced during the covid-19 pandemic. Among the challenges encountered in the development of the meetings are: internet connection problems, audio and video tools that did not work, lack of reserved spaces and difficulty dealing with silence. The groups in online format brought some particularities that need to be observed by the facilitators when planning this intervention model, it is believed that the present work managed to list some of these issues.
