Resumo: It is perceptible for everyone that women's soccer does not have the same treat mentand space within the media as men's sports, several would bereasons that explain suchan event, for example, the history of soccer in our country and the difficultin sertion of women in this Sport whichistreated as na exclusively male reserve, constituting a privilege space for the exercise of power. Composing this scenario, soccer, along with other sports, such as wrestling, rugby, water polo, had its practice permitte dbylaw for womenonly 30 years ago. The general objective of the work was analyzed the space occupied by male and female soccer in digital media during a major Sporting event. Five media were eliminated, usingtheir digital versions, and the number of reports relate to men's and women's soccer be fore the media before, during, and after the Sporting event was quantified. It was concluded that women's soccer hás little space in the coverage carried out bythe media, since this modality presented average reporting rate lower than the average reporting on male soccer.

It was concluded that women's soccer hás little space in the coverage carried out bythe media, since this modality presented average reporting rate lower than the average reporting on male soccer.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação)É perceptivo para todos que o futebol feminino não tem o mesmo tratamento e espaço dentro da mídia como tem o esporte masculino, várias seriam as razões que explicam tal acontecimento como, por exemplo, o histórico do futebol em nosso país e a difícil inserção da mulher dentro deste esporte que é tratado como uma reserva exclusivamente masculina, constituindo-se em um espaço privilegiado de exercício de poder. Compondo este cenário, o futebol, juntamente com outros esportes, como lutas, rugby, pólo aquático tiveram sua prática permitida por lei para a mulher há apenas 30 anos atrás.O objetivo geral desse trabalho foi analisar o espaço ocupado pelo futebol masculino e feminino na mídia digital durante um grande evento esportivo. Foram analisados 5 meios de comunicação, utilizando suas versões digitais, e quantificado o número de reportagens relacionados a futebol masculino e feminino publicadas nestes meios antes, durante e após o evento esportivo.
