Resumo: To simulate a flight of the Cessna Citation Excel aircraft (Model 560XL), classified as a business jet aircraft, a mathematical computational model was implemented using Matlab language. For the present work, performance data of each flight stage were collected by the captain and first officer on three reference flights, and compared with the data obtained through the model. The main equations for each stage of the flight, a review of performance concepts, flight profile, aerodynamic forces as well as information about the airports of the brazilian capitals and of some other cities were also collected and presented.
