The theoretical / practical research in Visual Arts presented here seeks to understand the link between sources of inspiration and creative process. Looking at my own creative process, with the intention of broadening the field of research to a general phenomenon, I come across places that are present throughout my career as an artist, such as fashion, collage and appropriation. These are places that sustain and feed the process consciously or unconsciously. Over time, the closest sources of inspiration, such as childhood and family memories, physical archives stored over time that preserve everything from fleeting experiments to feelings and even the technique as a discovery process, are reflexively analyzed with aid from a theoretical framework. Parallel to this reflective path, a production focused on these places is born, in which I seek the maximum use of such sources for the production of images. I find within these small niches, linked by individual experience, the necessary material that motivates my creative process in the artistic field.
