Resumo: | The objective was to investigate to investigate the occurrence of reproductive problems and diseases such as Leptospirosis and Neosporosis in cows of the Fazenda Experimental Capim Branco of the Federal University of Uberlândia. Samples were collected from 50 cows, which had no history of leptospirosis vaccine, where Leptospirosis and Neosporosis were performed. After that, all these cows received leptospirosis vaccine with a booster after 30 days, and then started the breeding season. In a second part of the work blood was collected from 25 cows, were used to retest the leptospirosis and neosporosis later. For the leptospirosis test, the microscopic sero-agglutination test was performed in the dark field (MAT), and for the Neosporosis test, the serology test for total IgG-ELISA was performed. The prevalence observed was 56% in 2017 and 100% in 2018, with the most frequent serovars being Sjroe, Wolffi and Pomona. In the year 2017, 52% of the reactive animals were observed against anti-Neospora caninum antibody and in 2018 88% of reagents were observed. When they analyzed reanimating animals for both diseases simultaneously through the diagnosis performed in October 2017, they observed a very low birth rate at the end of 2018 of 58%. The pregnancy rate of these animals in 2017 and 2018 were 81% and 66%, respectively. Therefore it observes data that is not desirable for a beef cattle property. Therefore, it is necessary that measures be taken, such as treatment of these animals, diagnoses of other diseases not studied, among others. |

Universidade Federal de UberlândiaBrasilMedicina VeterináriaMagalhães, Felipe Antuneshttp://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4240220Z5Martins, Müller Carrarahttp://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4472531H7Lima, Anna Monteiro Correiahttp://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4799092A4Resende, Fausto Henrique VIlela2019-07-02T16:08:32Z2019-07-02T16:08:32Z2018-12-03info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisapplication/pdfRESENDE, Fausto Henrique Vilela.
