This work addresses the need to consider the posture and ergonomic positions of school furniture due to body changes during child growth. The focus is on children aged between 3 and 6 years old, and the aim is to design a set of school furniture that offers comfort, safety and good posture during learning activities. The research methodology included literature review, case study and direct observation. The principles and concepts of ergonomic design applicable to children's school furniture were analyzed, considering height, inclination, shape and material. Based on this analysis, design solutions were offered to overcome deficiencies and improve the children's experience at school. The main conclusions highlight the importance of designing furniture with height adjustment appropriate to the size, weight and motor skills of children, following ergonomic rules. This report highlights the importance of involving children in the design process to ensure that their needs and preferences are met.
