Acompanhamento terapêutico e reforma psiquiátrica: relato de experiência na formação profissional

This paper aims to investigate the potential of Therapeutic Accompaniment (TA) as a device in the process of social reintegration and psychiatric reform, especially as a mediator of the relationship between subject and social context and an articulator and strengthener of the health care network. Therefore, it presents an experience report with TA carried out from an extension project and internship between the years 2017 and 2018 in a Brazilian CAPSad (Psychosocial Care Center - alcohol and other drugs) in a medium-sized city in the interior of Minas Gerais state. The experience report was constituted using as sources of data the journal of the therapeutic companion and researcher, which were articulated in the narrative composition for the development of therapeutic accompaniment from the method of clinical cartography. In the analysis of the narrated experience, the social scenario presented was discussed in dialogue with an overview of the history of madness and the advances and setbacks of psychiatric reform movements. Thus, it was sought to encourage reflection on the way in which professionals work in the mental health care network, often still guided by the asylum logic, on the role of therapeutic accompaniment in social reintegration and on the importance of these topics in undergraduate degrees in psychology. It is concluded by the still incipient character of the psychiatric reform, by the potential of TA in psychosocial reintegration, in valuing the potential of socially marginalized subjects and in advancing the anti-asylum struggle, as well as the need to expand discussions and experiences effectively aligned with the psychiatric reform in the field of mental health from professional training to the systematization of care devices in public policies.
