Since the beginning of the Brazil’s colonization, there was slaves, and later domestic servants who did and do the manual service, or the service that does not require any kind of intellectual qualification. In view of this, the domestic profession has a big devaluation, for carrying this past and for not having strong regulation and supervision until the present moment. With the advent of Complementary Law 150/2015, many changes have taken place, however, equality between skilled workers and domestic workers is still a distant reality. The objective of this research is show the main differences and motivations of the rights of a domestic workers and a skilled workers, going through an evolution of the history of the legislation of this class that has suffered so much over the years to conquer their rights in an egalitarian way with the rest of the working class in the society.
