Posturas interpretativas ao violão: uma análise de Gavotta-Choro, de Heitor Villa-Lobos, a partir da gravação de dois violonistas

Resumo: This work aims to discuss some positions on musical interpretation based on a bibliographic review and to identify expressions associated with these positions through of the recordings of the Heitor Villa Lobos’s Gavotta-Choro, by two reference guitarists, Julian Bream (1933-2020) and Fábio Zanon (1966-). After surveying theoretical concepts around the theme and considerations about the musical materials present in the work, our focus sought the interpretive details with an emphasis on agogic and, through it, on the evaluation of phraseology as a whole, permeating structural and timbristic aspects involved. Our search was to know plausible possibilities of influences from popular musical genres (vocal and instrumental ones), in the decisions’s current interpreters, in order to infer and evaluate a supposedly informed intuition (Rink) who gave them the support.
