Resumo: ABSTRACT: This research has as general objective to analyze the national scientific articles that were produced on the subject meditation in the period of 2009 to 2018. The research is of analysis of the scientific production. In order to collect data, we have surveyed the national articles on meditation in the SciELO, Redalyc and Lilacs databases. We found 24 articles, 12 of them in the health area, 7 related to education, 4 referring to the validation of instruments and a conceptual one. The articles analyzed on meditation allow us to infer that the Brazilian scientific production published in the article format in the three bases studied is small, and consequently does not contribute sufficiently to the discussion of new discoveries, at national and international level. It is necessary to increase the scientific collection in the area, to discuss the specificities of each meditative technique and its respective effects, investing in the training of professionals who want to use it as an alternative / pedagogical intervention resource.

A pesquisa é de análise da produção científica. Para a coleta de dados fizemos o levantamento dos artigos nacionais sobre meditação existentes nas Bases de Dados SciELO, Redalyc e Lilacs. Foram encontrados 24 artigos dos quais 12 na área da saúde, 7 relacionados à educação, 4 referentes à validação de instrumentos e um conceitual. Os artigos analisados sobre meditação nos permitem inferir que a produção científica brasileira publicada no formato de artigo nas três bases pesquisadas é pequena, e que consequentemente não contribui de maneira suficiente para a discussão de novos achados, tanto em nível nacional, como internacional.
