Esporte na educação física escolar: perspectiva teórico crítica

Resumo: School-based physical education is still seen by many teachers in a highly sporadic perspective. We carried out a bibliographical research of a qualitative nature, investigating the theoretical production of authors and authors of the area that treat sports in school physical education critically. We have analyzed eight articles published in the last years as of 2010. From the analysis we present this article that aims to legitimize other characteristics of the sport, such as social, cultural, economic and historical aspects. In addition, to show that there are other possibilities of themes within Physical Education in addition to sport, and even more of sport seen from the threshold of the sports institution, which privileges training, athlete training, competition and specialization are elements that end up promoting exclusion.

Realizamos uma pesquisa bibliográfica, de caráter qualitativo, investigando a produção teórica de autores e autoras da área que tratam o esporte na Educação Física escolar de maneira crítica. Analisamos oito artigos publicados nos últimos anos a partir de 2010. A partir das análises apresentamos este artigo que visa legitimar outras características do esporte, como os aspectos sociais, culturais, econômicos e históricos.
