Resumo: The present study aimed to analyze the impact of a Career Workshop on the perceptions of support, barriers, professional aspirations and professional self-efficacy in women in predominantly male professions, comparing their responses before and after attending the event. The experimental group was composed of 16 women, aged between 19 and 50 years, while the control group was formed by 6 women, aged between 20 and 49 years. An online form was used, consisting of a Sociodemographic Questionnaire, Career Support Questionnaire, Reduced Career Barriers Inventory, Career Aspirations Scale and Professional Self-Efficacy Scale. The results indicated that, despite not obtaining a statistically significant relationship, the means attributed to the variables self-efficacy and ability to overcome barriers rose after the event. The need for intervention in the scope of Organizational and Work Psychology with women is highlighted, especially as they work in predominantly male professions, promoting the permanence and ascension of women in the career they chose to pursue.

O grupo experimental foi composto por 16 mulheres, com idade entre 19 e 50 anos, enquanto o grupo controle foi formado por 6 mulheres, com idade entre 20 a 49 anos. Foi utilizado um formulário on-line, composto por um Questionário Sociodemográfico, Questionário de Suporte na Carreira, Inventário de Barreiras na Carreira Reduzido, Escala de Aspirações de Carreira e Escala de Autoeficácia Profissional. Os resultados indicaram que, apesar de não obter relação estatisticamente significativa, as médias registradas nas variáveis autoeficácia e capacidade de superação de barreiras subiram após o evento.
