Resumo: The municipality of Uberlândia stands out in the Brazilian export of grains, so that from the 2000s on there was an intensification of crops focused on agribusiness, where the national space is articulated to meet the global scale through productive specializations. The present work had as its main objective to map the areas planted with soybeans and corn in the municipality of Uberlândia, in Minas Gerais, with the premise of understanding and spatializing the expansion of these cultures in the time series that encompasses the years 2001, 2014 and 2022. In this sense, remote sensing techniques were used for data survey; and geoprocessing techniques as support for the integration and analysis of information. Based on this mapping, it was possible to verify the spatialization and the occupied area in hectares of these crops, corroborating analysis about the growth of agribusiness and the economic and environmental impact on the municipality.
