Resumo: Aim was to evaluate the growth performance of weaned pigs to the assessment of biochemical parameters by providing dry yeast, and hydrolyzed yeast cell wall. Was used 144 animals, 72 females and 72 males, 23 to 70 days, distributed in four treatments with six replications: T1 - (control) basal diet; T2 - an initial pre (0.02% yeast hydrolyzate) - (LH), pre initial 2 (0.02% LH), a first (0.005% of LH), starting 2 (0.005% of LH), T3 - initial pre one (0.01% LH), pre initial two (0.01% of LH), an initial (0.025% of dry yeast) - (LS), initial 2 (0.025% LS), T4 - an initial pre (0.01% MOS), the initial pre 2 (0.005% MOS), an initial (0.025% LS), initial 2 (0.025% LS). For the evaluation of growth performance, pigs were weighed on days 25, 37, 49, 61 and 72. Blood samples were collected at the age of 26, 49 and 72 piglets for evaluation of biochemical parameters: uric acid (AC), albumin (ALB), calcium, cholesterol (COL), creatinine (CREA), phosphorus (Pi), gama -glutamyl transferase (GGT), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), Total Protein (PT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), triglycerides (TG), urea, magnesium (Mg). At 72 days of age, were slaughtered four animals from each treatment to the weighing of organs such as pancreas, liver, spleen, stomach and intestine (measured was the length). There were no significant differences on the performance of the animals and organ weights, and was not found statistical difference between treatments for the biochemical parameters used (p <0.05). Was found only a reduction in feed intake of the 4 treatment in pre-starter and a second home, which was added dry yeast and MOS. This fact may be due to a likely decline in the palatability of the diet. The treatments containing yeast combined, were not sufficient to promote a satisfactory performance in the control group.
