Ponto final do telejornalismo esportivo? Uma análise do programa Falha de Cobertura

Resumo: Starting from a problematization about the relationship between sports telejournalism and humor, this monograph discusses excerpts from the humorous program Fault Coverage, linked to the Youtube channel TV Quase. The objective was to question whether the Coverage Failure can be considered a criticism of the current form of production of sports television journalism. For this, we used the methodological path of audiovisual analysis by Rose (2008). In the analysis, excerpts from four programs selected according to the research proposal and supported by the study of humor were transcribed and discussed, mainly by Bergson (1983), Minois (2003) and Stott (2014), together with the study of television journalism highlighted by Oselame (2013), Barbeiro and Rangel (2006) and Toledo (2000). From this it was possible to observe how the construction of the characters Craque Daniel and Professor Cerginho produce a sports debate that reveals the fragile face of sports telejournalism, in a critique of the production of telejournalism as a spectacle.

Para isso, utilizou-se o percurso metodológico da análise de audiovisual de Rose (2008). Na análise, foram transcritos e debatidos trechos de quatro programas, selecionados de acordo com a proposta da pesquisa, com apoio do estudo do humor, principalmente, de Bergson (1983), Minois (2003) e Stott (2015), junto com o estudo do telejornalismo esportivo em destaque, de Oselame (2013), Barbeiro e Rangel (2006) e Toledo (2000).
