Saberes e práticas do professor universitário: o olhar dos discentes de uma universidade pública

Resumo: The present study it is a final project, in which criticamante reflected on some theoretical and empirical, notes about the teaching in higher education, in the context of public policy since the 90 up to contemporary times, especially in relation to the training of teachers, especially, competence, ethics, efficiency, and productivity in technicality movement of the world of work. Introduced himself as main objective of research, understand, specifically the course x, a Federal Public University, under the eyes of the students, the competence of their teachers today, especially their practices and implications, seeking to collate what has been required by the world of work as training, and that that supposed form: a subject emancipated. In particular, it was considered as students characterize his teachers as competent; realizing the purposes, objectives and principles that permeate the practices of teachers that students consider competent; checking how the teacher-student relationships, when the teacher is deemed competent; highlighting the competence required, currently, teachers of higher education influence in the process of learning of his students; understanding, if the teacher deemed competent way the political, critical and ethical student. The methodology used in the research is qualitative approach, since it allows the construction of knowledge from the reality that, interpreting it in the most complex and extensive. Soon, the procedure of analysis and interpretation of data was processed from the categorial analysis, according to Minayo (2012). Based on the data collected, interpreted and reflected, we work with the hypothesis that, though, the students that not all teachers are competent, evidenced is based on emancipation and humanization, (re) meaning and teaching in technical-aesthetic dimensions-ethics and politics. However, it is believed that education based on humanity and not just the technicality of knowledge, builds critical citizens, subjects and emancipated, freelancers, politicians and reflective, able to deal with the adversities of the world outside the University and not only to be qualified.

However, it is believed that education based on humanity and not just the technicality of knowledge, builds critical citizens, subjects and emancipated, freelancers, politicians and reflective, able to deal with the adversities of the world outside the University and not only to be qualified.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação)O presente estudo trata-se de um Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC), no qual, refletiu-se criticamante sobre alguns apontamentos teóricos e empíricos, acerca da docência no ensino superior, no contexto das políticas públicas desde a década de 90 até a contemporaneidade, especialmente em relação à formação de professores, sobretudo, à competência, à ética, à eficiência, o tecnicismo e o produtivismo, no movimento do mundo do trabalho. Apresentou-se como objetivo principal da pesquisa, compreender, especificamente no curso x, de uma Universidade Pública Federal, sob o olhar dos estudantes, a competência de seus professores atuais, sobretudo, suas práticas e implicações, buscando cotejar o que vem sendo exigido pelo mundo do trabalho como formação, e aquela que se supõe formar: um sujeito emancipado. Em específico, entendeu-se como os estudantes caracterizam seus professores como competentes; percebendo as finalidades, os objetivos e os princípios que permeiam as práticas dos professores que os alunos consideram competentes; verificando como se dá a relação professor-aluno, quando o professor é considerado competente; evidenciando se a competência exigida, atualmente, dos professores do ensino superior influencia no processo de ensinagem de seus alunos; compreendendo, se o professor considerado competente forma o aluno político, crítico e ético. A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa é de abordagem qualitativa, uma vez que, possibilita a construção do conhecimento a partir da realidade que se observa, interpretando-a do modo mais complexo e amplo. Logo, o procedimento de análise e interpretação dos dados encontrados na pesquisa empírica ocorreu a partir da análise categorial, segundo Minayo (2012). Com base nos dados levantados, interpretados e refletidos, trabalhamos com a hipótese de que, apesar, dos discentes afirmarem que nem todos os professores são competentes, o ensino evidenciado é pautado na emancipação e humanização dos mesmos, (re) significando e ensino nas dimensões técnica-estética-ética e política.
