This work aims at translating, from English into Brazilian Portuguese, part of the website pottermore.com, more specifically the wizarding schools found into it, followed by an annotated translation about this translation process. In this research, a qualitative-descriptive procedural theoretical model is used, which is interested in the process and in the sequence of choices and decision-making in the translation task of the website pottermore.com. In Translation Studies, the annotated translation of hypertexts is little discussed, and thus, this work proves to be relevant in instigating a discussion about the specificities of the translation and localization of a website and its difficulties and limitations. In doing so, the translation of pottermore.com's wizarding schools will be presented with comments on the translation process, ilustrating doubts and choices emerged during it. Theoretical assumptions on the translation and localization of websites are also provided, once they are perceived as a subarea of Translation Studies, which involves the translation of digital products, and the handling of technologies for extraction and manipulation of their contents.
