The city of Uberlandia-MG, in a continuous search for its development and growth, experienced the relationships, the changes in its landscape and space over time, determined by the needs of society in different sectors, such as in the field of religion, culture, leisure and public character, these we approach occurred between the post-war moment, where new technologies and processes in the field of architecture led to the modern movement. Our case study object, from affective pathways and plastic reference in relation to the city, we identified works understood as urban references with a plastic and formal character, defined as fixed and urban landmarks, examples that defined the development of the surroundings, still they are able to tell the local history through modern architecture and their dialogues established over time, with an expression of great importance in the context of local modern architecture, as they house projects by architects such as Lina Bo Bardi and Oscar Niemeyer, among others who became an object. research in the fields mentioned and being objects of reference in Modern Architecture.
