The goal of the research is to analyze how the issuance of bonds are demonstrated by Brazilian corporations, with emphasis on electricity distribution companies, analyzing the accounting treatment applicable to the recognition, measurement and disclosure of incurred transaction costs, as well as the premiums received in the process of fund raising through the issuance of equity and/or debt. The study is developed from the survey of investments in corporate bonds, comparing companies of the same sector and analyzing their financial reports. In order to reach the proposed objective, exploratory studies were used, having books, articles, magazines, newspapers and internet sites as source and source and theoretical support.
