Resumo: Within a university there can be several entities that contribute to the complementary training of a student, among them are the Academic Athletic Associations. These, who today have been looking for ways and tools to develop and monetize their work, because it is a non-profit entity. This work discusses how an athletic can be seen as a brand within the university environment, strengthening and enhancing the characteristics of this type of entity in this type of movement. For this to happen, it was necessary to bring definitions and concepts about brand, visual identity and branding, in order to solve the current identity project of Atlética das Artes UFU, using the tools and methodologies of design in the construction of the brand, thus resulting in the redesign of the association and the creation of a product line as a final result.
