Intervenções precoces no desenvolvimento motor do prematuro – revisão sistemática

Introduction: The preterm infant presents motor characteristics that differ from the term, being extremely important the monitoring of its development, in order to identify specific characteristics of this population and to enable early intervention. Objective: Perform a systematic review and present the main and most relevant physiotherapeutic treatments in preterm infants with motor delay. Methods: A selection of international and national articles was carried out. Inclusion criteria included articles of original character or systematic review with a quality impact factor of A1 to B2 indexed in the electronic databases MEDLINE, PUBMED, BIREME and SciELO. The articles were selected from keywords, evaluated by the PEDro scale, with clinical relevance and focus on the physiotherapeutic treatment of motor delays of premature infants in temporal space from 2008 to 2018. Data synthesis: Twenty articles were selected of which only 6 were included in the inclusion criteria, of which 4 (67%) were national and 2 (33%) were international. The high incidence of parents / guardians in treatment programs was observed. Conclusion: In spite of the small number of recent studies involving early intervention in the motor development of premature infants, it is observed in the works found the importance of associating physiotherapeutic care with parental involvement, potentializing through this union the effectiveness of the applied treatments.
