A terceirização uberizada: um estudo do caso iFood

This paper studies the phenomenon of uberization from a critical perspective. Through the bibliographic review, marked by interdisciplinarity, initially, it seeks to demonstrate that the sign of precariousness is inscribed in the history of Brazilian work, and flexibilization is not a novelty. Furthermore, it seeks to analyze the various changes in the process of exploitation of the class-that-lives-from-work. Such analysis adopts as a theoretical framework the work of the theorist Ricardo Antunes and his Marxist perspective permeates this analysis. So, the paper starts to describe the recent phenomenon of uberization, which under the discourse of technological innovation exploits workers by denying them the formal job. In the midst of this large universe of application companies, iFood that active in the delivery business, is specifically studied. It was analyzed, then, how the company arises and its positioning. In order to understand how the Labor Judiciary has been facing the matter of uberization, a series of lawsuits was also analyzed, and this analyse showed the great divergence of jurisprudence. Finally, it was concluded that iFood mixes typical elements of outsourcing, especially in hiring through a logistics operator, with elements of uberization, especially in the hiring of the "cloud" delivery person, hiding the employment relationship through supposed partnerships and small companies.
