Resumo: The purpose of this study is the development of a serious electronic game for human gait rehabilitation to complement traditional physiotherapy in post-stroke patients to help them to recover from the deficient gait. The development was made using the Microsoft Kinect, the game engine Unity 3D and a treadmill to build a serious game with needed parameters to a gait rehabilitation for these patients. Increased motivation in patients causes them to stay longer and to better perform rehabilitation protocols, since serious game can help in the visual response and feedback of treatment. Thus, it has been observed that the use of serious games can be a tool that will bring a positive result in the process of rehabilitation of gait in post-stroke patients.

O desenvolvimento foi feito utilizando o Microsoft Kinect, o motor de jogos Unity 3D e uma esteira ergométrica para criar um jogo sério com os parâmetros necessários para a reabilitação de marcha para estes pacientes. O aumento da motivação em pacientes faz com que estes permaneçam por mais tempo e que realizem melhor os protocolos de reabilitação, uma vez que o jogo auxilia na resposta visual e feedback do tratamento.
