This study dissertated on the understanding of young people and adults of the Scout movement about the relationships that leisure and scouting have. For this purpose, an online questionnaire was applied on the Google Forms platform, and sent to young people and adults participating in the Scout Movement. The instrument included questions aimed at identifying the motivations, importance, tastes of the participants within the Scout movement and also about the understanding of volunteers about leisure. There were 198 volunteers from the Scout Movement of different ages and countries participating in this study. We concluded that there is partially a relationship between leisure and scouting, because they relate to leisure only the activities carried out in the open air, the camps, trips and social activities.
