This memorial aims to present my school, academic and professional experiences in the field of education, reflecting the importance of understanding human rights education, as well as its legislation. The purpose is to value a teaching action aimed at training conscious and active citizens in society who are able to understand their rights and duties to reduce social, political and economic injustices. The relationship between education and social practice is a necessary condition for human life, as man is a social being. Education as a practice of freedom provides the subject with a critical look at the world, in which he is able to understand himself, to understand the other, to be aware of his history and the history of humanity, to be active in his social context. The study of the theme shows that teaching knowledge is essential for the concreteness of a pedagogical practice that effectively contributes to the humanization of the human being as an emancipatory form of the subject, supported by knowledge in Human Rights.
